First day
When you arrive at the airport you probably will have a more than usual amount of luggage. You might want to reserve a taxi in advance and make sure that they can deal with all you luggage.

Hotel/Motel
You need a place to sleep for the first few days. You can choose a hotel or a motel. A hotel is usually more expensive with more amenities.

Buying stuff
If you need to buy things and don't want to run around - get it delivered from Walmart. Just make sure that it's OK with the place where you're staying. Amazon is also a good option.
