In order to get a NS driver license you have to pass 2 tests

1) The written test

2) Driving test

The first thing you need is to get a translation of your exesting driver license at ISANS.

You will not be able to do the tests without it.

You should do the intake interview with ISANS first.

The RMV (registry of motor vehicles) takes ISANS translations with no problems. Translations from the country of origin may cause you a delay. The translation is 10$ at ISANS.

Once you have that - head to the nearest Acces Nova Scotia with your ID (Passport or Nova scotia ID) and your drivers license and translation.

Pay for the tests, pass the tests and happy days!
